Although Seven Points is in the business of mining land for needed resources, we also have a role as stewards of the land we work.
Our position is to be a company that takes the proper environmental role in conducting reparations on our mining properties. For example, we're now turning a property where we have mined sand for many years into a 125-acre lake. When we're finished, the former mining site will be restored to better than its original state. |
This particular property, which belongs to Rosewood Ranch, will be left with smooth sand beaches all around the lakeshore. We have gone to great lengths to preserve as many of the trees as possible, some of which will extend into the lake in the form of a peninsula.
The resulting recreational oasis will have picnic areas as well as offer boating and fishing. Eventually, houses will be built surrounding the lake and the area will become home for a new community. |
